This arrow shape pointing to the face mouth seems quite symmetrical. By mirroring one side to the other we can see how close it is.
Here is one side mirrored on to the other. As you can see the difference is very slight.
Such a slight variation might be accounted for by the perspective of the photo. Nasa adjusted the picture, which was shot from the side, to simulate an overhead view.
